It is very unprofessional and also illegal for your landlord or letting agent to harass you. If you are being bothered by a landlord or agent regarding your tenancy security deposit or bond, then it is highly likely that something illegal is happening with your deposit money.

Is your deposit protected?

It is likely that your deposit was never protected with a government-approved Deposit Protection Scheme. It is possible that your landlord or agent is intending to keep your deposit or force you to agree to deductions that are not reasonable. If your deposit is not protected, you are entitled, by law, to your full deposit back and compensation of up to 3 times the amount of your deposit for your landlord or agent’s breach of the law.

Let us help!

If you are not sure if your deposit is registered with a government approved Deposit Protection Scheme, please call out trained expert advisors on 020 3476 6648 or fill out the contact form.
